About the Author

Dane Liston is a retired scientist (although scientists never really retire). He earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Utah and worked for almost 40 years doing research and drug discovery for treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and cancer. Professionally, he has contributed to over 45 scientific publications, but this is his first (and only) work of pure fiction. In retirement, he enjoys woodworking, astrophotography (I’ll find them cagey Aliens!), fishing, fixing stuff around his 175-year-old house, and writing.  He lives in an old fishing village in southeastern Connecticut with his family, two dogs, and a cat.
