About the Author
J.H. Diehl is the author of novels and picture books for young readers, including Tiny Infinities, a Bank Street Best Book of the Year, Junior Library Guild Gold Selection, and Mighty Girl Book of the Year. Her other books include Loon Chase and Three Little Beavers. The Daydreaming Sink is her first book of nonsense verse and an homage to Edward Lear.

About the Illustrator
Kathryn Freeman is an artist and storyteller who combines classical composition with magic realism. Freeman’s paintings have been exhibited in galleries in Europe and across the United States. Her paintings are in numerous private and public collections, and she has completed several large-scale public mural commissions.
